The mud battle - Enduro extreme in Sweden
Once a year, the quiet Swedish Baltic Sea island of Gotland becomes the setting and venue for the toughest motorbike race in the world. The winners of the "Grand Gotland National" are given lifelong legend status. The reason for this is not only the high degree of difficulty of the 22-kilometre course, but also the fact that all 2,500 racers start at the same time. The reportage accompanies four German participants in their fight for the highly coveted title.
