#wanting to have a child - Just pregnant?!
Getting pregnant "just like that" - that doesn't work for every sixth couple in Germany. Under #kinderwunsch, many of them share their hopes and fears, including Anna Adamyan, who shows more than half a million followers her daily routine on Instagram, including hormone injections, ovulation tests, infusions and hospital stays. For this documentary, Anna has now accompanied other couples through their fertility treatment.
For six months, cameras were there every step of the way: from the first examinations to the embryo transfer to the pregnancy test - and afterwards. "I am totally impressed by how much the couples have let us into their lives. That they have opened up so much, even with this intimate, emotional topic, trusting us and me. I am very sure that they will give a lot of courage to many other people affected by this," says Anna Adamyan.
She thinks: We should not only talk about the joy when things work out, but much more often about the pain when, after all the effort, the pregnancy test fails again or there is even a miscarriage.
